Donna S Roberson

Donna Sue Roberson, 63, of Bremen (Farmland) passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, January 19, 2025. She retired from Universal Bearings in 2021 after 21 years of holding multiple positions. In those 21 years she worked hard to support her family and made lifelong friendships that she cherished. She was the definition of love, kindness and selflessness. She was the epitome of strength and grace. She is leaving a legacy of joy and kindness that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She had so much love for everyone that she was around, especially her family, including her children: Derek (August) Holderman of Losantville, IN, Dustin (Carrie) Holderman of Plymouth, Damien (Victoria) Holderman of Delaware, Amanda (Ryan) Pitts of Walkerton, and Amber (Ethan) Chambers of Losantville, IN. Her siblings: Deb Swihart, Brenda Hummel, Sandy (Jerry) Enders, Linda (Paul) Tyler, and Dave Swihart. She has 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild who were truly the light of her life. Donna was fortunate enough to meet the love of her life, Steve Hernly (of Farmland) who loved and cherished her. She is preceded in death by her parents Mary Greer, Donald Swihart and her loving sister Carolyn Jean Thomas. Donna will be remembered for her selflessness and her kindness toward everyone she met. She was the glue of the family and made sure everyone was always taken care of and loved. She loved cooking for her family. She always cooked enough to feed an army. She didn’t go anywhere without her sewing machine and/or her crochet hook. She had a love of crafting and gifting things to friends and family.  She found such happiness in the small things like going to her grandkids sporting events, and always taking lots of pictures. Donna truly had the biggest heart and will be missed more than words can express. Her life was a testament of love, kindness and resilience. She was the heart of the family and we couldn’t have asked for a better mother, sister, grandma (DeeDee), and friend. As we say goodbye to this remarkable woman, we take comfort in knowing that she will live on in the hearts and memories of everyone who knew her. She will remain in our hearts forever. Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 pm, Monday, January 27, 2025 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen.  Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm Monday in the funeral home with burial to follow in Bremen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the family to help with expenses.
