Dorothy J. Bollinger passed away at 87 years old in Bremen, IN. She was born April 17, 1930, the daughter of Cecil and Ruth (Lemler) Grise, of Lake of the Woods, with one sister, Marian Jean Anderson of Bremen, all deceased. She is survived by: daughter, Lou Ann Neldon of South Bend, and her children, David of South Bend, daughters, Kimberly of Chicago and Julie (Jake Jones) of Indianapolis. Daughter, Sheri (Phil) Mason of Jimtown, and his son, Michael (Melissa) Mason and their four children, Peyton, Makenzie, Cole, and Carter Mason, all of Lake of the Woods. Son, John (Brenda) Bollinger of Bremen, and their son, Justin (Natalie Chambers) of Osceola, daughters, Rachel (Earl) Mullet of Nappanee and Sarah Bollinger of Bremen. Son, Robert (Melodie) Bollinger and their son, Dustin Bollinger of Bremen. Dorothy married Wayne R. Bollinger on October 20, 1950. He passed away on September 18, 2008. Together, they were owners of W.R. Bollinger Construction Co. and built many beautiful homes. She was a member of the Snite Museum of Art at Notre Dame for 50 years and did sculpting. She and Bob traveled to Israel and later she visited five European countries. They took their family on many U.S. vacations. She was a lifetime member of Salem E.U.B. Church, which is now Bremen United Methodist. She was also a supporter of the United Pentecostal Church of Bremen, which her son John is pastor. Per Dorothy’s wishes, there will be no viewing or visitation. Cremation has taken place with a later time for memories and closing. Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Center for Hospice, 112 S. Center St., Suite C, Plymouth, IN 46563 or the United Pentecostal Church, 1686 Douglas Rd, Bremen, IN 46506.
