Dorothy Edgerton

Dorothy Ella Edgerton, 95, of Bremen, passed away at 5:49 am, Friday, November 24, 2017 in Signature Health Care of Bremen. Dorothy was born on March 16, 1922, the daughter of Herman and Louise (Carrol) Vincent. On September 9, 1942, in Midland, TX, she married L.H. Edgerton. He passed away on March 5, 1983. She is also preceded in death by two daughters, Joan Bowen and Kathy Ratkiewicz and a brother, Fred Vincent. She is survived by three children, L.H. (Mary) Edgerton, Jr. of Ft. Wayne, Ann Mort of Leesburg, and John Edgerton of Bremen; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Dorothy worked at Montgomery Ward for many years and she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Algiers, LA. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm, Monday, November 27, 2017 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
