Douglas Lamont Golden, 91, of Bremen, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2026, in his home surrounded by family members. Doug was born on December 22, 1934, in Plymouth, the son of the late Edward and Beatrice (Schumaker) Golden. On June 6, 1955, he married Mabel Louise Jones.

He is survived by his loving wife, Louise; four children: Lori (Jim) Charters of Cromwell, IN, Lisa (Doug) Ford of Bremen, Christina Golden of Syracuse and Michael (Carrie) Golden of Syracuse; 17 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and three siblings.

He was a carpenter by trade and loved woodworking. He also enjoyed gardening and fishing in Florida.

Per his wishes there will be no services and cremation will take place.
