Elsie M. Collins, 78, of Bremen, passed away at her home at 8:50 pm, July 20, 2017. She was born on September 7, 1938, the daughter of the late Jacob and Gertrude (Mikilojczak) Zoetvelt in Chicago, IL. On May 11, 1957, she married Francis “Frank” J. Collins. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Frank; two children, Elizabeth Collins and Kimberly (John) Knez; two grandchildren, Daniel (Brenda) Knez and John Ryan (Stephanie) Knez; and three great grandchildren, Ethan, Brady and Sean. She is also survived by a brother, William (Marilyn) Zoetvelt. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 noon, Monday, July 24, 2017 in St. Dominic Catholic Church, 803 W. Bike St., Bremen, with two hours of visitation prior to the service. Rev. Fernando Jimenez will officiate. Burial will take place at 11:00 am (EST), Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in Resurrection Cemetery, 7201 Archer Ave., Justice, IL 60458-1140 In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to St. Dominic Catholic Church or Center for Hospice Care, 112 S. Center St., Ste C., Plymouth, IN 46563.
