Flora M. Bowser, 97, of Bremen, went to her heavenly home at 6:50 am, Friday, August 24, 2018 in Grace Village in Winona Lake. Flora was born on November 3, 1920 in Wakarusa, the daughter of the late Loyd and Magdalene (Flory) Weldy. On November 4, 1945 she married Wilbur Bowser. He passed away on September 18, 2003. She is also preceded in death by one sister and five brothers. She is survived by four children; Jay (Frances) Bowser of Warsaw, Bob (Lisa) Bowser of Ft. Collins, CO, Linda Gaier of Auburn, IN, and Jane (Todd) Adams of Punta Gorda, FL; four grandchildren, Angel (Shawn) Rummel, Phil Bowser, Nathan (Stephanie) Gaier and Andrew Gaier; nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Flora was an active member of the Bremen United Methodist Church. She was a member of the PTA, co-founder of Project Help, and former committee member of Historic Bremen. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:30 pm, Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 30, 2018 in Bremen United Methodist Church, 302 Plymouth St., Bremen, with one hour of visitation prior. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bremen United Methodist Church.
