Gale E. Laudeman

July 30, 1950 — December 18, 2020

Gale Eugene Laudeman, 70, of Bremen, passed away December 18, 2020 at St Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.  Gale was born to Richard and Lorene (Munsell) on July 30, 1950 in Bremen. He is survived by his wife, Connie Jo (Boggs) Laudeman, of 51 years.  They together have 3 sons; Todd (Cassie) of Bremen, Bryan of Bremen and Jason (Jen) of Bourbon.  Gale and Connie share 4 grandkids; Chase, Bailey, Taylor and Owen.  Gale is also survived by two brothers; Doug (Nancy) of Bremen and Kent (Dianne) of Niles. Gale was a person that loved livestock whether it was his cattle at his farm or livestock that he hauled for others.  He loved Agriculture and lived it every day.  Gale was very passionate about the 4-H program and the Indiana Hereford Association, there wasn’t a person he didn’t know in any show or event he went to, and EVERYONE knew who Gale Laudeman was, and all the kids knew where to get the gumballs from and all the adults knew where to get all the gruff from.  In 1995 Gale and Connie started selling Umbarger show feed from there farm.  Gale enjoyed selling feed as a way of helping the youth succeed with their livestock projects.  He enjoyed being out in the feed shop helping the customers and talking with everyone who came to buy feed, he and Connie have come to build a successful feed business together. Gale and Connie along with their Sons have always been very passionate about raising cattle.   This past fall marked 48 years of selling 4-H club calves to local 4-H kids and their families, Gale was always ready to place the best calf with the right kid and loved to see each kid thrive with their calf, whether it was his own grandkids or another 4-H member. Gale over the years was involved in several organizations: American Hereford Association, American Chianina Association, American Simmental Association and National Maine Anjou Association. Gale Loved spending time at the sale barns and all the coffee shops in between, if Gale was not at the farm with his cattle he was hauling hay to the hay sales or livestock. Gale loved his life on his farm and sharing it with his family and everyone around him. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 23, 2020 in the funeral home with one hour of visitation prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.
