Garland M. Carothers

Garland Maurice Carothers, 86, of Bremen passed away at 4:25 pm, Wednesday, April 24, 2024 in Signature Health Care of Bremen. Garland was born on May 30, 1937 to the late Brightsel and Wilma (Hepler) Carothers. On October 6, 1957 he married Muriel Miller.  He is survived by his wife and two sons, Shawn (Deb) Carothers of Arizona, and Dana (Sherri) Carothers of Nappanee four grandchildren, one great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Leon Carothers and two sisters Eudora Marburger and Glenice Balsley. He Worked at Bremen Bearing (RBC) for 43 years, and attended Nappanee Missionary Church. Visitation will be held Saturday May 4, 9:00 am-11:00 am in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen, IN 46506. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Pastor Jason Rohde officiating, Burial will follow in the Bremen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the donor’s choice.
