Glenn Woodward

Glenn C. Woodward, 94, of Plymouth, passed away at 11:50 am, Saturday, September 5, 2020 in Community Hospital of Bremen. Glenn was born on February 14, 1926, the son of James and Ethabelle (Appleton) Woodard. On January 22, 1949, he married Helen Boembeke. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Helen; two children, Glenn (Connie) Woodward and Sally Ann (Clark) Wilson; three grandchildren, Brandon (Monica) Woodward, Allison (Aaron) Keeling and Justin (Heather) Woodward and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Vernon (Wilma) Woodward. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Patricia, great granddaughter, Marissa and brothers, Roy, Elbert, David, Allen and sisters, Hilda Brown and Ola Odell Woodward Glenn proudly served his country as a Helmsman in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1946. He was a farmer. He and Helen wintered in Florida and he enjoyed to play golf. A private family graveside service will be held at the Bremen Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made to Alzheimer’s’ Association, 922 E. Colfax Ave, South Bend, IN 46617.
