Goldie M Buckner

Goldie M. Buckner, 95, of Bremen, passed away peacefully at 6:25 am, Friday, February 13, 2026 in her home surrounded by family. Goldie was born on January 9, 1931 in Clear Lake, WI to Frank and Nora (Stewart) Hrdlichka. On October 2, 1948, she married Harvey “Harv” Buckner. He passed away on Sept. 16, 2004.

She is survived by four children: Craig (Regina) Buckner of Madisonville, KY, Kale (Sharon) Buckner of Plymouth, Melonee Schutz of Bremen and Tammy (Kirk) Richer of Temecula, CA, seven grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, two great grandsons, son-in-law, David Schutz, four brothers and one sister.

Goldie and Harvey were the owners of the former Bremen Bowling Lanes. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 pm, Tuesday, February 17, 2026 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 605 S. Center St., Bremen. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 noon in the church with Pastor Neil Wonnacott officiating. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions to be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Center for Hospice.
