Gordon Hardy

Gordon Kent Hardy, 78, of Bremen, passed away at 4:25 am, Tuesday, March 30, 2021 in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Gordon was born on September 2, 1942, the son of the late Richard and Evelyn (Warren) Hardy. On September 2, 1960, he married Carol Roth. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carol; two children, Tim (Jan) Hardy of Plymouth and Lori (Mark) Cope of Bremen; six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Richard (Sharon) Hardy, Jr. of Tennessee. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Chris Hardy. Gordon retired from Utilimaster in 2001 after many years of service. He was a Bremen Volunteer Fireman for 10 years. He attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and enjoyed attending car shows and playing poker with friends. A private family service will be held. Pastor Neil Wonnacott will officiate. Burial will take place in Bremen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 605 S. Center St., Bremen, IN 46506.
