Harold L. Nettrour

Harold L. Nettrour, 97, of Bremen, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026. Harold was born on June 11, 1929 to the late Wilber and Ottlitte (Kruska). On March 21, 1954 He married Fern Seese. She passed away on February 9, 2014. He is survived by three children: Cheryl (Joe) Ervin of Bremen, Dean Nettrour of Bremen and Craig (Kim) Nettrour of Sebring, Florida; two grandchildren: Austyn (Haylee Eckert fiancé) and Gage (Jenni Fishburn fiancé).  Also a great granddaughter who will be joining the family in December.  He is also survived by one sister: Esther Mitchell of Lakeville and sister-in-law Carolyn (David) Nowakowski and several nieces and nephews.  Caregiver Lauren (Trent) Pletcher was like a granddaughter to him.  He adored her daughter’s Carter and Brinley.  He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and brother: Donald Nettrour. Harold served his country in the U.S Army during the Korean War.  After returning home, he bought a farm and is known as Miami Hill Farms.  Harold ran a dairy farm for many years and farmed for 60 plus years.  He was blessed to live near some wonderful farming neighbors who were always there to help each other in time of need.  He adored his dogs especially Pooch, Heidi and Abby who guarded the cattle.  Harold loved God, family and his friends and will be greatly missed.  

 Family will be having a Memorial Service at a later date. Memorial donations in Harold’s name can be given to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, (605 S Center St, Bremen, IN. 46506)
