Harold Leroy Price 84, of Bremen passed away in his home surrounded by family. He was a loving husband to his devoted bride of 65 years Alice “Ramey”. Beloved father to his three children; the late Gregory (Sheri) Price, James (Sue Kintz) Price, and Diana (Tony) Farrer. Admired for his quick wit, smart remarks and good stories by his grandchildren; Holly (Nathan) Skoviak, Candace (Steve) Farrer, Jennifer (Daniel) Watson, Amber (Caleb) Martin, Jay (Jennifer) Roark, Tony (Beth) Farrer, Jr, Andrew (Kim) Pinter and Melanie Pinter. Known as “Ho Ho” for his jolly spirit and white beard, by his great grandchildren Leslie, Colton, Deklyn and Gracelyn. He is also survived by three brothers – Ernie (Carol) Price, Richard (Linda) Johnson and Larry (Kim) Johnson, two sisters – Joyce (Melvin) Boyle and Sharon (Tom) Franks. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Clifford Price and Chuck Johnson, son Gregory and daughter-in-law Sheri Price and his parents Ernest and Beulah Price and step father, Harold Johnson. Harold was a 1957 Graduate of Madison Twp. He lived a life of service from his time in the Navy on the USS Ranger CVA-61, being a member of the Schriners, Scottish Rite, VFW Post # 8972 and longtime Fire Chief of Osceola Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a proud Freemason and member of Bremen Masonic Lodge #414, alongside his grandson Daniel. He was the former owner of Total Image by Diana & Co. of Bremen. He had a long career of transportation with Shippers Dispatch, Preston Trucking, and after retirement enjoyed driving the Amish. In his spare time he and Alice enjoyed many years of camping with Mish-ola Campers and later settled with a permanent site surrounded by his brother and sister-in-law on family property in Osceola. He was an animal lover and always enjoyed having his pups around. He enjoyed the outdoors and the company of his longtime neighbor and friend, Irve Kaylor. To put it simply he lived a bold and loved life, surrounded by those he loved the most. Visitation will be held, Tuesday March 14, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 pm at Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen, with a Masonic Ceremonial Funeral immediately following. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 15, 2023 in the funeral home, with visitation an hour prior. Pastor Jim Morse will be officiating. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions to be made to Karen’s Bark Park, 111 S.
