Jacqueline Davis

Jacqueline Davis, 93 of Wakarusa, passed away at 10:00 pm, Monday, November 18, 2019 in Millers’ Merry Manor of Wakarusa.  Jackie was born on July 14, 1926, the daughter of Edwin and Mary (Baker) Ruffing.  On July 30, 1950, she married James R. Davis.  He preceded her in death on July 1, 1997.  She is also preceded in death by a sister, Rosemary Hannell and niece, Mary Kay Hannell.

Jackie is survived by Paul (Janet) Davis of Bremen; three grandchildren, Kevin (Heather) Davis of Indianapolis, Sarah (Nathan) Hilbert of South Bend and Laura Davis of South Bend and two great grandchildren, Oliver and Beckett.  She is also survived by a sister, Suzanne Theriault of Bonita Springs, FL.

Jackie was a 1944 graduate of Delphi-Deer Creek Township High School.  She was a member of Flora Presbyterian Church, where she volunteered for the Thrift Shop.  She also volunteered time with the Carroll Co. Meals on Wheels and was involved with the Beta Psi Chapter of Psi Iota Xi.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date in Camden Cemetery.
