James O. Hill

James Otis Hill, 72, of Bremen, passed away at 1:54 am, Friday, December 9, 2022 in Memorial Hospital.  Jim was born on August 30, 1950 in Bremen, the son of George and Esther (Sauter) Hill. Jim loved to watch NASCAR and making car models.  He never knew a stranger and used to walk through town and socialize with everyone along the way. He is survived by his mother, Esther of Bremen; brother, Michael (Carol) Hill of St. Louis, MO and several nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his father and a sister, Mary Jo Shumaker. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm, Thursday, December 15, 2022 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen, with funeral services beginning at 4:00 pm.  Cremation will follow and burial of his ashes will take place at a later date. The family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the Bremen V.F.W., 1750 W. Plymouth St, Bremen, IN 46506.
