James “Jim” LaVon Reed, 84, of Bremen, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in Center for Hospice-Raclin House of Mishawaka. Jim was born on June 16, 1941, in Plymouth to Herman and Opal (Kaufman) Reed. On April 28, 1963, he married Joyce Baker.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughter: Julie Reed-Cox of Mishawaka and a granddaughter: Angelina Cox. He is also survived by a sister: Marilyn (David) Back of Plymouth.

Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm and burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.
