Jane Smith

Jane Ann Marie Smith, 68, of Bremen, passed away on October 16, 2026 at Brickyard Healthcare of Mishawaka. She was born on November 9, 1957 to the late Dallas and Louise (Osos) Slusser. She is also preceded in death by sister, Eileen Slusser and brother, Paul Slusser, along with sister-in-law, Connie Slusser.

She is survived by her siblings: John Slusser, Mary (Greg) Batalis, Roger (Sheri) Slusser and Sue (Brian) White, along with several nieces and nephews and also great nieces and nephews. She is also the mother to her one and only daughter, Angie Smith (Housie Edel), who she shared with her late ex-husband, Ronald “Scott” Smith. She was the grandmother to four grandchildren: Kyle, Wyatt, Garrett and Brianna Pollard.

Through all her struggles in life, she was still a loving daughter, sibling, aunt, mother and grandmother and for some time a wife.

At her request there will be no funeral, and she will be laid to rest at her plot in the Bremen Cemetery.
