Joan L. Laudeman

Joan Lucille Laudeman, 93, of Bremen, passed away at 2:00 am, Friday, June 16, 2023 in The Waters of
Wakarusa nursing facility. Joan was born on September 12, 1929, the daughter of the late Edgar and
Helen (Rettinger) Ames. On April 6, 1951, she married Glenn Laudeman. He passed away on July 18,
2019 after 68 years of marriage. She is survived by two sons, Marc (Diana) Laudeman of Bremen and
Alan (Julie) Laudeman of Loveland, CO; six grandchildren, Lynette (Bryan) Miller, Jay (Jennifer)
Laudeman, Katie Spencer, Lindsey (Jason) Carter, Erica (Chris) Economou and Alex (Cadi) Kiel; and 11
great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Eileen Morrison of Plymouth and sister-in-law,
Lavera Ames of Plymouth. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Dawn Kiel and
brothers, Bob and Don Ames. Joan was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church. She was a
loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed sewing and needle crafts. Visitation
will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm, Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331,
Bremen. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm in the funeral homes. Private burial will take place in
Bremen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to
Riverside United Methodist Church, 5952 5 th Rd, Bremen, IN 46506.
