June Stuntz

June Emma Stuntz, age 94, of Bremen, IN, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, October 23, 2021, in the company of family. June was born on June 24, 1927, on the south side of Elkhart, IN. On September 5, 1945, in New Paris, IN, June married the love of her life, Howard Stuntz. The couple raised a loving family together and remained in the Bremen area throughout their lives. June will be remembered by those that love her as an avid and gifted flower gardener, a collector of antiques, having lifelong friendships, and a loving grandmother who was always the first out the door with her grandchildren to go sledding or to explore her garden. June is survived by her son, Glenn Stuntz; daughter in law, Janet (Gary) Stuntz; five grandchildren, Tate (Amy) Stuntz, Shana (Tim) Brownlee, Tara (Clint) Town, Shelby (Nicole) Stuntz, and DeAnna (Jeremy Jones) Stuntz; eleven great grandchildren, Allen and Julia Stuntz, Olivia and Ella Brownlee, Leo Stuntz, Mykenzie, Payton, Jocelynn, and Colton Town, Randal Jeffrey and Samantha Jones; as well as brother in law, Hayward Stuntz and sister in law, Marilyn (Wyman) Hochstetler. June is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Stuntz; her son, Gary Stuntz; sister, Clara (Gongwer) Myers; brother in law, Harold Myers; brother, Al Gongwer; sister in law, Alice Gongwer; brother, Dewey Gongwer; sister in law, June Gongwer; brother, Lowell Gongwer; and sister in law, Josephine Gongwer; brother, Glenn Gongwer; and in laws Bob and Elnora Soales, Ernestine (Hayward) Stuntz, and Wyman (Hoppy) Hochstetler. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 am, Friday, October 29, 2021 at Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am, Friday, October 29, 2021 at the funeral home. Pastor Evan Garber will officiate. Burial will take place in the Bremen Cemetery.
