Kathleen Koontz

Kathleen "Kay" Koontz passed away peacefully surrounded by family members on March 4, 2023. She was 91 years old. She shared her life with her loving husband of 68 years, Gary Douglas Koontz.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Gary Douglas Koontz; brother, Bill Hilimire; in-laws, Kent (Carolyn) Koontz; children, Jeffrey Koontz, Michael (Tina) Koontz, Desiree (David) Frederick, Mary Larsen, Tom (Becky) Koontz. Also, fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren survive.

She enjoyed time with her family, puzzle books and the beautiful signs of spring. We will all miss her smile and companionship greatly.

Family invites you to an open house at The Senior Center Meeting Room (Old Bremen Hotel) 103 W. Plymouth St. Bremen, IN Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 12:00-3:00 pm for food and fellowship to celebrate her life.
