Kerry Lee O’Dell, age 55, passed away the morning of Sunday, July 29, 2018. Kerry lived and worked in Bremen, Indiana, and was a beloved member of the Bremen community. He was secretary of the VFW and participated in many local events in Bremen. Kerry loved fishing, watching the Packers, reading books with his granddaughter, and spending time with friends and family. Kerry is survived by his sons, Ryan O’Dell, Nathaniel (Kelsey) O’Dell, and Garrett O’Dell; mother, Sarah Jeanette O’Dell; brothers, Kevin (Jane) O’Dell and Keith O’Dell; sister, Kathy O’Dell; niece, Sarah O’Dell; nephews, Lee O’Dell and Gavin O’Dell; ex-wife, Debra Diedrich; granddaughter, Lily O’Dell; his dear friend, Jim Walter; and many extended family members and friends. Kerry’s loving and gracious spirit will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, August 9, 2018 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 10, 2018 in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation in his name to the Bremen VFW Post 8972, 1750 W. Plymouth St., Bremen, IN 46506.
