Kimberly Kay Bowling

Kimberly Kay Bowling, 57, of Nappanee, passed away at 2:30 am, Monday, September 25, 2023 in her home.  Kim was born on February 1, 1966 in Bremen to Larry and Barbara (Morris) Capron.  ON June 16, 1984, she married Christopher Bowling. Kim is survived by her loving husband, Christopher; four children, Samantha (Stephen) Zimmer of Nappanee, Jessica Clyde of Nappanee, Tabitha Bowling of Bremen and Nick (Hope) Bowling of Elkhart and 15 grandchildren, Alexis, Braeden, Emma, Ian, Brodyrick, Skylar, Hailee, Hanna, Hunter, Heath, Danielle, Tanner, Taylor, Tucker and Cayden. She is also survived by her father, Larry Capron; three sisters, Christine (Jon) Siefer of Plymouth, Kay (Mike) Shumaker of Bremen and Tina (Jon) Halteman of Bremen; uncle, Mark (Sissy) Capron of Richmond Hills, GA; aunt, Patricia Capron of Bremen and aunt, Sue Cannon of Bremen.  She is preceded in death by her mother. Kim enjoyed crocheting baby blankets for her family and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She also had a fierce love for her dachshund puppies, Sassy and Luna. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, September 28, 2023 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 29, 2023 in the funeral home.  Burial will take place in Bremen Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or online at www.heart.org or to the family to help with expenses
