Laura L. England

Laura Lee England, 67, of Bremen, passed away February 13, 2024 at her home. She was born on April 26, 1956 to William D. Staton and Mary Ann (Baer) Penrose in South Bend. Laura was a graduate of Bremen High School and Ferris State University. On November 9, 1974 she married Phil England, who preceded her in death in 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Damian England; and two sisters. Laura is survived by her sons, Dustin (Annette) England of Zionsville and Derek England of Carmel; grandchildren, Chaz and Zack England; a brother, David (Ellen) Staton of Plymouth; and several nieces and nephews. Laura worked for many years as a registered nurse at the former Saint Joseph Hospital in Mishawaka and later with Saint Joseph Health System. She enjoyed genealogy research and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
