Lavon Lamaster

Lavon M. Lamaster , 88, of Bremen, passed away at 1:03 pm, Saturday, April 30, 2022 in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Lavon was born on April 12, 1934 in Niles, MI to the late Bryon and Bertha (Morehouse) Rupe . On April 12, 1954 she married Lloyd Lamaster . He passed away on September 24, 1992. She is survived by four children, Howard (Cherie) Lamaster of Avon, IN; Janice (Kevin) Chaney of Wakarusa, IN; Joe Lamaster of Bremen, IN; and Judy Murphy of Bremen, IN; 25 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband , two sons John and Thomas Lamaster and three brothers Chester, Howard, and Samuel Rupe . Lavon attended Bremen Missionary Church and was a member of The Red Hat Society. She loved her family and never knew a stranger. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 3, 2022 in Mishler Funeral Home , 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p m, Wednesday , May 4, 2022 in Mishler Funeral Home with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Pastor James “Archie” Archambeault will officiate. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery . Memorial contributions can be made to the Bremen Missionary Church.
