Leon Carothers

Leon Eugene Carothers, 60, of Bremen, passed away at 4:41 pm, Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Leon was born on June 4, 1961 in Bremen to Garland and Muriel K. (Miller) Carothers. Leon graduated from Bremen High School. He worked for Universal Bearing for 42 years and attended Nappanee Missionary Church. He proudly supported Ducks Unlimited and NRA. He is survived by his parents, Garland and Muriel Carothers; two siblings, Shawn (Deb) Carothers of Peoria, AZ and Dana (Sherri) Carothers of Nappanee; and four nieces and nephews, Kyle (Amelia) Carothers, Katelyn (Matthew) Hammond-Carothers, Tate Carothers and Rylee (Tucker) White. Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:30 am, Saturday, October 16, 2021 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 am in the funeral home. Pastor Jason Rohde will officiate and burial will take place in Bremen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Nappanee Missionary Church, 70417 CR 19, Nappanee, IN 46550.
