LeRoy H. Anderson, 86, of Bremen, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026. LeRoy was born on September 4, 1939 to the late Harry and Elsie (Hoch) Anderson. On August 26, 1960, he married the former Jeanne Savage. She passed away on July 30, 2013. He is survived by four children: Edith (Luke) Workman of Bremen, Karen (Doug) Warren of Bourbon, Michael (Jennifer) Anderson of Medina, OH and Patty Anderson of South Bend; 10 grandchildren: Stefany Yoder, Kara Ranningan, Katelyn Arndt, Robert Arndt III, Thomas Arndt, Tammy Arndt, Jory Miller, Samuel Anderson, Ella Anderson and Jonathan Anderson and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by three siblings: Helen Bain of Camden, NY, Dolores (Jim) Graviet of Niles, MI and Arthur (Fran) Anderson of South Bend. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son in law: Gregory Miller, three grandchildren: Melia Byrer, Elizabeth Thomas and Grace Anderson and a brother: Fred Anderson. LeRoy proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged in June of 1968. He was past commander of the VFW, where he was a member of the honor guard. He also volunteered many hours at the local Food Bank, Blood Bank and Holy Walk. He worked at Leman for many years before retirement. LeRoy was a dedicated member of Bremen United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00 pm, Sunday, July 26, 2026 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, July 27, 2026 in the funeral homes with Pastor Max Milton officiating. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made to Bremen United Methodist Church, 302 W. Plymouth St., Bremen, IN 46506.
