Lester LeRoy Bellman, 80, of Bremen, passed away at 5:39 pm, Monday, May 17, 2021 in Memorial Hospital of South Bend. Lester was born on December 17, 1940 in Bremen to Robert and Bettie (Gunterman) Bellman. On June 28, 1964, he married Carolyn Huff. She passed away on May 2, 1993. He remarried on June 4, 1994 to Gilda Beath. He is survived by his wife, Gilda of Bremen; two children, Jodi (Paul) Atkinson of Mooresville, IN and Robert (Brandy) Bellman of Bremen; four step children, Dan (Heather) Beath of Holland, MI, Heidi (Tyson) Edwards of Plymouth, Tonya (Aaron) Bice of Geneva, IL and Sarah (Greg) Miller of Grand Rapids, MI; 22 grandchildren and one great grandchild. He is also survived by a brother, Rick Bellman of South Bend. Lester worked as a warehouse supervisor for Bellman Oil. He was a lifetime resident of Bremen and a longtime farmer. He loved the Chicago Cubs and participating in tractor pulls. He was a member of Nappanee Missionary Church. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, May 20, 2021 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 21, 2021 in Nappanee Missionary Church, 701417 St Rd 19, Nappanee, with one hour of visitation prior. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.
