Lester Bollenbacher

Lester Eugene Bollenbacher, 95, of Bremen, passed away at 2:21 am, Monday, September 7, 2020 in his home. Lester was born on July 15, 1925 in Lakeville to the late Jess and Amelia (Berger) Bollenbacher. On June 10, 1950, he married Mildred Miller. He is survived by loving wife of 70 years, Mildred; three children, Cheryl (Steve) Hochstettler of Milford, Brad (Susan) Bollenbacher of Bremen and Carla (Paul) Henson of Bremen; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Universal Bearings and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 am, Saturday, September 12, 2020 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 605 S. Center St., Bremen. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 am in the church. Pastor Neil Wonnacott will be officiating. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
