Lester L. Bradford, 90, of Bremen, passed away peacefully in his home at 6:00 pm, Sunday, April 8, 2018. Lester was born on October 14, 1927 in North Liberty to Walter and Mary (Morris) Bradford. On June 18, 1950, he married Peggy Scott. She passed away on October 10, 2010. He is survived by two children, Michael (Jacquelyn) Bradford of Indianapolis and Debra (Michael) Bradley of Bremen; five grandchildren, Jason, Staci, Scott, Paige, and Alec; nine great grandchildren, Brittany, Austin, Dylan, Anakin, Skylar, Abram, Eva, Miles and Cora and one great great great grandson, River. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, grandson, Eric and siblings Bette Sheffield and Harold Bradford. Lester retired after more than 30 years of employment at SKF, Bremen Bearings. He enjoyed playing golf and watching the Chicago Cubs. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, April 13, 2018 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen with two hours of visitation prior to the service. Pastor Chuck Krieg will officiate. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery
