With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lori L. Verhaeghe, 69, a loving wife and mother whose life was defined by devotion to her family and the depth of her love. She valued family above all else, finding her greatest joy in time spent with those she cherished. Her love was generous, steady, and unconditionally felt deeply by everyone, fortunate enough to know her. She dearly loved her role as “Grandma Lori” to her own grandkids and those that were blessed to be brought into the family. She loved attending anything her grandkids were a part of and was always their biggest fan. Lori loved spending time working in her flower beds and being outdoors. She & Larry enjoyed vacationing together to warm, sunny Florida.
She will be remembered for her big, beautiful smile that could light up a room and make anyone feel instantly at ease. It was a reflection of her kind spirit, her warmth, and the joy she carried within her. She had a way of making people feel seen, loved, and welcome, whether through a comforting word, a shared laugh, or a quiet moment together. With her deep faith, she led her family with an example of strength and deep commitment to the Lord. Her legacy lives on in the love she gave so freely, the family she held so close, and the countless memories that will be treasured forever. Though she is no longer with us, her presence will always be felt in our hearts.
She was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed by her husband Larry and their three children: Ben (Jen) Verhaeghe, Dustin (Shannon) Verhaeghe, and Meghan (John) Strang. She leaves behind her eight grandchildren; Madison (Danny) Clevenger, Justin Strang; Ethan, Brooklyn, and Owen Verhaeghe; Macey, Jersey and Grayson Verhaeghe. She is survived by her mother; Carol Boyer and sisters; Kristi Harris and Amy (Brian) Lechlitner and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas Boyer and brother-in-law, Paul Harris.
