Luther L. Spencer

Luther Lee Spencer, 70, of Bremen, passed away at 4:59 am, Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka.  Luther was born on August 27, 1953 in Jackson, KY, the son of the late Ervine and Leona (Wright) Spencer.  On May 6, 1972 in the United Missionary Church, he married Christina Laudeman. He is survived by his loving wife, Christina; son, Toby (Jamie) Spencer of Wasilla, AK; two grandchildren, Josh (Liberty) Spencer and Ethan Spencer and two great grandchildren, Steven and Navy.  He is also survived by seven siblings: Jeanie Spencer of South Bend, Carol Spalding of South Bend, Sandy (Keith) Schutz of Lapaz, Phillip (Linda) Spencer of Bremen, Tony Spencer of Elkhart, Doug Spencer of South Bend and Merly (Stoney) Cunningham of Inwood, as well as many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents and grandchild, Valor. Luther loved working on cars, watching western movies and spending time with his brother, Phillip. Per his wishes, cremation will take place. A memorial service will be at a later date.
