Margery A. Baumgardner

Margery Ann Baumgardner, 96, of Bremen, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Margery was born on January 21, 1930 in Bremen to the late Orvil and Ada (Zentz) Haas. On June 18, 1948, she married Edward Baumgardner. He passed on November 4, 1987. She is survived by two children: John (Cheryl) Baumgardner of Bremen, IN and David Baumgardner of Albany and a granddaughter: Amy Baumgardner of Granger. She is preceded by her parents, husband, two sisters: Shirley Haas and Marilyn Cripe and a brother: Kenneth Haas. Margery worked at Farmers State Bank for 40 years and was the Vice President. She was a member of the Pilot’s club and was on the St. Joseph County Fair Board and Madison Township Trustee. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 pm, Friday, June 26, 2026 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 27, 2026 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Bremen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or Alzheimer's Association .
