Marjorie J. Rupert

Marjorie Jean Rupert, 89, of Bremen, passed away peacefully at 11:05 am, Friday, August 30, 2024 in her home.  Marge was born on January 10, 1935 in Atherton, IN to the late Ivan and Nellie (Kravets) Sills.  On January 31, 1953, she married Paul Rupert in South Bend. Marge worked at Bendix after high school.   She and her husband currently own and operate Rupert’s Resort on the shores of Lake of the Woods.  She enjoyed attending the Covered Bridge Festival and vacationing in the Florida Keys. She is survived by three children: Robert (Pamela) Rupert of Bremen, Pamela Pal (Mike Nemeth) of Edwardsburg, MI and Victoria Rupert of Bremen; Three grandchildren: Cassandra Pal, Matthew  (Kristy) Rupert and Kyle (Shawna) Rupert; and three great grandchildren: Mason, Dylan and Morgan Rupert.  She is preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter: Catrina Pal and three siblings: Catherine Eileen Sills Chapman, Rosalie Ann Sills Woodcox and Delores Sills Zimmerman. There will be no services at this time.  Cremation will take place per her wishes. Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen is handling arrangements.
