Marlena Dube

Marlena Kay Dube, 79, daughter of Ernest and Frieda Leeper of Bremen, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 9, 2017 at 11:55 am a the Hospice House of South Bend. Marlena left to be with her husband, Lorne, who preceded her in death in the year 1998. Marlena left to cherish her memory two children; Debra Allan and Brian Guard, three grandchildren, Garrett, Clayton, and Dustin and five great grandchildren, Aydin, Alex, Mckenzie, Levi and Kohen. She was also survived by two siblings, Leon and Dennis Leeper. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and four siblings, Marvin, Jessie, Ernestine and Ronnie. Marlena was born on September 9, 1938 in Bremen and lived there until 1965, at which time she moved to Canada, and remained there for 42 years. She returned to Bremen to be with her siblings in 2007 and remained until her passing. Marlena loved the Lord, her passion in life was to spread his word. Marlena was an ordained minister and ministered in a supportive capacity alongside her husband for many years of her life. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, October 16, 2017 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen, with one hour of visitation prior. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.
