Marvin Hummel, Jr

Marvin L. Hummel, Jr., 67, of Bremen, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka after an extended illness. Marvin was born on April 12, 1951 in Bremen, the son of the late Marvin, Sr. and Alvia (Troyer) Hummel. Marvin proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1971. He was a semi-truck driver for many years. He is survived by a son, Steve (Jennifer) Troyer of Bremen, one grandchild, Evan Troyer and three sisters, Marge (David) Huff of Las Vegas, NV, Donna Howell of Plymouth and Marilyn Pfefferle of Bristol and his beloved dog, Channing. Per his wishes, Marvin will be cremated and his ashes will be buried next to his parents in the Bremen Cemetery in a private ceremony.
