Mary A. Holm, 92, passed away on May 10, 2022 in Indianapolis, IN. She lived a full and rich life leaving behind so many who loved her. Mary was born on July 27, 1929, to Christian and Anna (Augustine) Turbes in Lisbon, ND. She graduated from Loyola High School (Mankato, MN) in 1947. Mary married Hugo S. Holm on February 3, 1951 in Tyler, MN and they moved to Bourbon, IN. In 1960, they moved to Bremen, IN where they raised their family and were faithful members of St. Dominic Catholic Church. Mary was the quintessential homemaker, mother and volunteer. She was a member of the Rosary Society and Delta Theta Tau philanthropic sorority. In her retirement she was an active member of the Bremen Hospital Auxiliary. She knitted untold number of items for the gift shop and made puppets and bears for the pediatric patients. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Hugo; daughter, Jean Schott; her sisters, Beatrice Nordmeyer and Marcella Lineberry; her brother Bernard Turbes and her grandchildren, Matthew Christerson, Eric Bradford and great-granddaughter Emerson Holm. She leaves behind her son, Jan (Linda) Holm of Bloomington, IN; daughters, Julie (Gary) Christerson of Rockaway Beach, OR, Jacquelyn (Michael) Bradford of Indianapolis, IN and Jayne (Barclay) Grayson of Fishers, IN; her grandchildren, Steve (Amanda) Holm, Jeff (Holly) Holm, Brian (Natalie) Holm, Joel Christerson, Chris (Jaina) Schott, Nathanael Schott, Paige (Alex) Bova and Alec (Nikkie) Bradford; 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 pm, Friday, June 10, 2022 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 803 W. Bike St., Bremen, IN. Calling is from 10:00-12:00 in the chapel of the Good Shepherd. Burial will take place in Bremen Cemetery with a meal at St. Isadore Hall to follow. Mary requested no flowers.
