Mary Waite

Mary E. Waite, 65, of South Bend, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at 8:28 am, Thursday, October 25, 2018 in the Hospice House of South Bend. Mary was born on May 4, 1953, the daughter of the late Edward and Josephine (St. John) Hudzik. She is survived by a daughter, Antoinette (Quenton Ernsberger) Waite of South Bend and two grandchildren that she loved more than anything in the world, Emery Radin and Nolan Ernsberger. She is also survived by a beloved brother, Tony (Anne) Hudzik of Tampa, FL. Mary is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Edward Hudzik, Jr. Mary was the bartender at the Maennerchor Club in South Bend for many years. She was a friend to many. Mary was always willing to volunteer time for any special event as well as a shoulder to cry on. She was the rock of her family and will be missed more than words can express. You left and forgot to tell my heart how to go on without you. As per her wishes, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
