Maxine W. Tyson, 98, of Bremen, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Maxine was born on November 21, 1923 in Bremen to the late Ray and Gladys (York) Swank. On September 29, 1946, she married Richard Tyson. He passed away on October 20, 1998. She is survived by two daughters, Connie (Doug) Flory of Bremen and Linda (Mike) Kreinz of Sussex, WI; three grandchildren, Sean (fiancé Leeann Hendrix) Flory of Bremen, Brandon Flory of Bremen and Donelle (Greg) Russell of Sussex, WI; five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is also survived by three siblings, Jeri Robinson of Denver, CO, Carol Hall of Bremen, Larry Swank of South Bend and sister-in-law, Marlene Swank of Plymouth. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and three siblings, Maryland Metcalf, Robert Swank and Don Swank. Maxine was a former assistant clerk for the town of Bremen. She attended Nappanee Missionary Church and was very active in sharing her faith with everyone she met. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 30, 2022 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Pastor Jason Rhode will officiate. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Nappanee Missionary Church Missions Fund, 70417 CR 19, Nappanee, IN 46550.
