Michael Henry Levy, 85, of Bremen, passed away peacefully at 3:51 am, Thursday, October 2, 2025. Mike was born on September 24, 1940, the son of the late Walter Levy and Carol (Souder) Doolittle. On June 21, 1959, he married his high school sweetheart, Janet Knoblock. She passed away on November 13, 2023. He is also preceded in death by daughter: Trena Lakins and son- in-law: Joshua Van Houten.

Mike is survived by three daughters: Lenae (Brad) Robinson of Bremen, Annette (Dave) Walter of Bremen and Karyn Van Houten of Plymouth; son-in-law: Mike Lakins of Bremen; nine grandchildren: Jennifer (Jayson) Bohn, Wes Robinson, Kelsey (George) Phillips, Kortney Suranyi, Alex (Laura) Robinson, Erika Walter, Jayde Glass, Megan (Blake) Lemler, and Molly (Zach) Klotz; and 15 great-grandchildren: Bennett, Henley & Blake Suranyi, Jameson & Jesse Bohn, Carson & Hunter Phillips, Michael Robinson, Lilyanne Hale, Myleigh Walter, Nayeli Glass and Tom, Sam, Ladd & Lyla Ballge. He loved to let people know he was up to a total of 24 grandchildren and great grandchildren with four of them having Michael as part of their name. He is also survived by a sister: Nancy (Paul) Newendyke of Arizona, as well as a sister-in-law, Judy Beehler of Rensselaer, IN.

Mike was an avid hunter, and enjoyed many hunting trips out west over the years. He was a member of the Wyatt Conservation & Coon Hunting Club, RMEF, National Cur & Feist Breeders Association, NRA, and was a proud Mason. He is a member of First United Church of Bremen, and more recently attended Nappanee Missionary Church.

A private service will be held, and his ashes will be buried next to his wife in Bremen Cemetery at a later date. Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen, is assisting with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or Nappanee Missionary Church.
