Michelle Grove

Michelle Grove, 61, of Bremen, passed away in the early morning hours on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in her home. She was born on August 4th, 1961 in Bremen, IN to Herman (Jack) and Marlene (Schweisberger) Hueni. On June 2, 1984, she married Ron Grove of Bremen. He survives. Recently, Ron and Michelle celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary. Their love and commitment to one another was a wonderful example for those around them. Together they loved to travel, spend time with friends and family, and enjoy their grandchildren. Michelle had a true servants heart. Throughout her life, she was a stay-at-home mom and spent much of her time thoughtfully pouring into her two daughters.Michelle was a teacher’s aide at Bremen Public Schools for many years before retiring in 2019 to become a full time “Gigi” to her three grandchildren. Her grandchildren adored her and will always remember her reading them books, making cookies, and spending time with them individually. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Michelle wore many hats while participating in church as a youth group leader, children’s leader, and small group leader. Many have been impacted by her love for and knowledge of the Lord. She also loved spending time with friends, shopping, decorating, ice cream, and listening to worship music. Michelle is survived by her husband, Ron Grove; mother, Marlene Hueni; daughters Lindsey (Ben) Fanning of Bremen, IN and Bethany (Dan) Harris of Weatherford, TX; grandchildren Bo, Quinn and Olivia Fanning and Fanning grandchild #4 on the way. She is preceded in death by her father, Herman Hueni Jr.; sister, Kristi Hueni and brother, Micah Hueni. Visitation and Funeral services will be held at Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 State Road 331, Bremen, Indiana. Visitation will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 from 4:00pm-7:00pm. The funeral will begin at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 17, 2023. Pastor Chris Knight will officiate. The burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery.
