Nancy Y. Kaiser

Nancy Y. Kaiser, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning January 15th with her two daughters by her side at Hospice House in Mishawaka. Nancy was born on November 14, 1937 in Hodgensville, KY to the late Woodrow Thompson and Katherine Morley with a surviving brother John Thompson. She was preceded in death by her half bother Ferron Thompson. Nancy is preceded by her husband of 61 years Keith Kaiser. Survived by two daughters Kimberley D. Finch married to her husband Edward Finch who live in Fishers, Indiana. Susan Y. Weldy is married to Trend Weldy who gave Nancy and Keith grandchildren Morgan and Ashleigh Weldy and Paige Weldy. Their family lives in Bremen Indiana. Nancy was a former school teacher having spent many years teaching 7th Grade English at Bremen and Grissom Middle School along with being a key leader for the gifted and talented student program. Nancy attended Nappanee Missionary Church along with the First Presbyterian Church in Marco Island Florida. During her years at Grace United Methodist Church, she directed and sang in the church choir for over 25 years. Nancy had a passion for reading, shell art, photography,  cooking, flower arranging as well as growing a variety of flowers. She enjoyed spending her winter months in Marco Island Florida. A memorial service will be held for both Keith and Nancy Kaiser in the Spring of 2025.
