Norma Jean Watkins

Norma Jean Watkins, 86, formerly of Bremen, passed away at 9:20 pm, Friday, November 24, 2017 in Brookdale Senior Living Center, Granger.  Norma was born on January 23, 1931, the daughter of Ernest and Vada Engdahl.  She is survived by her son, Richard and Cathy Watkins of South Bend, two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one great grandchild.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wilferd, and siblings, Florence Williams, Vada Slates, Vera DeMike, Ernest Engdahl and Earl Engdahl. Norma graduated from Riley High School.  She worked for Associates for many years before retiring.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society and loved the outdoors and going to the casino. Visitation will be held from 3:00-6:00 pm, Tuesday, November 28, 2017 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Bremen Cemetery.
