Ofelia Aguayo, 84, of Bremen, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021 at IU Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis. She was born on September 9, 1937 in San Gaspar De los Reyes Jalisco, Mexico, to Miguel Ramirez and Rosa Gallo. She was a faithful member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. She was known for her gift of chatting, her gentle smile and always greeting everyone she came across. She had a gift of making people laugh and feel comfortable. She enjoyed listening to her traditional Mexican music and loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and having family time. Ofelia was preceded in death by her husband, Enrique Aguayo whom passed away January 20, 2015. Ofelia is survived by six children, Felipe (Gloria) Aguayo of Bremen, Sergio (Polly) Aguayo of Bremen, Arturo Aguayo of Bremen, Enrique “Henry” (Rene) Aguayo, Jr. of Bremen, Beatriz Maefield of Las Vegas ,NV and Francisco (Jaime) Aguayo of Anderson; 16 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and one sibling. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Friends make call from 4:00-8:00 pm, Friday, November 5, 2021 at Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen with a Rosary service at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 6, 2021 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 803 W. Bike St., Bremen with one hour of visitation prior. Father Daniel, Father Fernando Jimenez and Father Fernando Polycarp will officiate with burial following in the Bremen cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions may be given to St. Dominic Catholic Church, 803 W. Bike St., Bremen, N 46506.
