Oswald Janke

Oswald “Ozzie” Janke, 77, of Stevensville, MI, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Signature Health Care of Bremen of COVID-19. Ozzie was born October 19, 1943 to Gustav and Agate (Popke) Janke. He emigrated from Germany to the United States in 1951 at the age of eight. Ozzie graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1962. He worked at Bosch Corporation from 1972 to 2002, and retired after 30 years. Before working for Bosch Corp., he worked at New Products for seven years. Ozzie enjoyed working in his yard, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. He's also known for telling a good joke and having an infectious laugh. Ozzie is survived by his siblings Lona Bumbulis, Herb Janke, and Trudy Enders. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces. Ozzie was preceded in death by his parents, and twin sister Erika Weber.
