Patricia Anne (Rash) Anderson was born on July 29, 1939, in LaPaz, Indiana, to William Jennings Rash and Evelyn May (Moore) Rash.
Pat graduated from LaPaz High School in 1957 and married her high school sweetheart, Edward A. Anderson, on September 8, 1957. They shared 63 wonderful years of marriage until his passing on December 2, 2020. Their son, Jon, was born in LaPaz in 1961, and the family made their home in Bremen beginning in 1965.
Pat took great pride and joy in watching her son participate in high school and college sports. She was a devoted member of the Bremen Order of the Eastern Star. During their retirement, Pat and Ed cherished spending 23 winters in Avon Park, Florida.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her brothers, Richard Rash and his wife, Lois, and David Rash; and her sister-in-law Ardith Kares and her husband Richard.
She is survived by her son, Jon (Vicky) Anderson; her grandson, Mac (Ashley) Anderson; and her great-grandson, Finn Anderson. She is also survived by her step-granddaughters, Meghan (Eric) Kowalik and Erica (Zach) Boike; her step-great-grandchildren, Jayden, Grayson, Luke, Max, and Sylvia; and her sister-in-law, Linda Rash.
Pat treasured the time she spent with her family—they were her everything.
Lovingly known as mom, grandma and grandma great, she will always hold a special place in our hearts. She was the guiding light of her family. Her love was fierce, her strength unmatched, and her presence unforgettable – a legend.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 pm, Saturday, June 20, 2026 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St Rd 331, Bremen. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm in the funeral home with Rev. Chuck Krieg officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery
The family requests that memorial donations in Patricia Anderson’s name be directed to the Bremen High School Baseball program. Contributions can be made c/o the Bremen Athletic Department, with checks made payable to Bremen High School Baseball, 511 W. Grant St., Bremen, IN 46506
