Paul Herbert Seegers, 86, of Bremen, passed away peacefully at 2:40 pm, Friday, April 16, 2021. Paul was born on November 10, 1934 in Des Plains, IL to William and Laura (Gosch) Seegers. On September 2, 1959, in Des Plains, IL, he married Carol Jean Hagen. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol; son, Warren (Penny) Seegers of Elkhart and four grandchildren, Jory, Gwenivere, Coy and Zane Seegers. He is also survived by three siblings, Arnold (Eloise) Seegers of Des Plains, IL, Myrtle Frischmann of Rolling Meadow, IL and Dorothy Rhodes of Marengo, IL. Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1959. He worked as a shipping clerk for Bremen Castings and was an associate at Meijer. His hobbies included camping and attending country music concerts. Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 pm, Thursday, April 22, 2021 in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 605 S. Center St., Bremen. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm, Thursday in the church. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family request that all memorials be made to www.mishawakatrooptown.org.
