Rachel Kubley

Rachel Eloise Kubley, 81, of Bremen, passed away in Community Hospital of Bremen on December 14, 2021. Rachel was born on December 2, 1940 in Peru, IN to the late Harley G. and Mabel (Dunn) Walters. On June 24, 1959, she married Ronald Owen Kubley. Rachel is the mother of three children, 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson, Dustin Reaker and son in law, Larry Reaker. At the time of her death, she was living with her daughter, Risa Reaker. She worked for 38 years at Hart Schaffner Marx sewing factory in Rochester. When the doors closed, she worked at Seating Tech in Bremen and Topeka. Rachel worked into her 70’s with a strong moral ethic. Her motto always was “You do what is right and what needs done, no matter how hard it is. That ethics lives on.” Per her wishes, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place. “You shall be my roots and I will be your shade, though the sun burns my leaves. You shall quench my thirst and I will feed you fruit, though time takes my seed. And when I’m lost and can tell nothing of this earth you will give me hope. And my voice you will always hear. And my hand you will always have. For I will shelter you. And I will comfort you. And even when we are nothing left, not even in death, I will remember you.” Mark Z. Danielewski.
