Richard Kuhn

Richard Allen Kuhn, 76, of Bremen, passed away peacefully at 10:15 am, Friday, September 22, 2017 in his home, surrounded by family. Richard was born on April 26, 1941, the son of Lester and Nellie (Young) Kuhn. On September 5, 1971, he married Diana Rohrer. He is survived by his loving wife, Diana of 46 years; two sons, Tim (Amy) Kuhn of Leesburg and Adam (Kari) Kuhn of Advance, NC; and three grandchildren, Rylan, Aubrey and Stella. He is also survived by two brothers, Glenn Kuhn of Bremen and John (Lorraine) Kuhn of Lakeville and sister-in-law, Diana Vargo-Rohrer of Bristol. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Roger and brother-in-law, Daniel Rohrer. Richard proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1966. He had worked for the former Bendix Corp. for 32 years before retiring and farmed for over 40 years. He was a member of the Bremen V.F.W. and was an avid card player. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm, Thursday, September 28, 2017 in Mishler Funeral Home, 2030 St. Rd. 331, Bremen. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, September 29, 2017 in the funeral home. Pastor Neil Wonnacott will preside. Burial will follow in Bremen Cemetery with full military honors.
