Richard J. Weston

Richard J. “Rick” Weston, 73, of North Liberty, passed away at 6:54 pm, Monday, November 6, 2023 in his home.  Rick was born on October 30, 1950 in Mishawaka to the late Richard John and Eleanor Joy (Huber) Weston. He is survived by his spouse, Sandra Lea Plummer; two daughters, Lori Ann Flower of Bremen and Reama Sue (Tim) Spurlock of New Paris; three step children, Amy Kay (Kevin) Maenhout of Bremen, Amanda Sue Jacobs of Mishawaka and Jamie Allen (Kimberly) Jacobs of Gainesville, TX; six grandchildren, Celeste, Jesse, Samantha, Cody, Elizabeth and Lucas and seven great grandchildren, Titan, Zelda, Pyrrah, Brooklynn, Jackson, Kensleigh and Octavia.  He is also survived by siblings, Toni Kay (Steve) Orton of Des Moines, IA, Janet Lee (George) Talos of Bremen and Damon Scott (Anette) Ray of Plymouth.  He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Linda Ellen Sickman, Thomas Henry Weston and Cynthia Louise Eppert and a great grandson, Titan Keith Wallace. He loved fishing, being at the lake, bonfires, spending time with friends and family and giving golf cart rides to the grandkids at the lake.  He loved all his grandkids and great grandkids.  He was still an active member of local Union 669 for 50 years.  He loved the Retirees breakfast and time with his union brothers. A celebration of life will be held from 2:00-5:00 pm, Sunday, November 26, 2023 in the Bremen V.F.W., 1750 W. Plymouth St., Bremen, IN 46506.
