Robert E. Unsicker

Robert Edwin Unsicker, 84, of Bremen, went home to be with our Lord at 11:51 am, December 25, 2020 at Elkhart General Hospital.  Robert is the son of Edwin L. and Mabel J. (Roeder) Unsicker. On July 8, 1969, Robert married Ruby L. Mikel, and they have enjoyed 51 ½ years together. Robert enjoyed life.  His passion was being a pilot and flying his airplane.  His nickname he went by is “The Fly Cowboy”. Robert’s parents preceded him in going home to our Lord Jesus, as did his great granddaughter, Danielle and step sons, John and Randy Garrett. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Ruby; sister, Betty L. Unsicker; children, Sandra (Tom) Wimmer, Tammy (Larry) Britt, Robert (Rocky) Unsicker, Jr., and Fred Garrett; grandchildren, Josh (Angela) Wimmer, Adam (Hailey) Wimmer, Timothy (Jennifer) Thacker, Heath Hicks, Jamie (Drew) Reed, Jeremy Hicks, Brandy (Justin) Morseau, Grace (Mike) Nyhius, Laura Unsicker, Katie (Nate) Flores, Justin Garrett, Nichole Garret and Christa Garrett; and great grandchildren, Aletta, Luke, Logan, Nathan, Natty, Laney, Landon, Tamara, Heaven, Jordyn, Tristan, Kaston, Easton, Cash, Adelyn, Skylar, Devin, Robert, Xavier and Bradley. A private family service will be held in the Bremen Cemetery.  Pastor Roger Rohde will officiate.
